PINK BOUGAINVILLEA
DOUBLE ORANGE BOUGAINVILLEA
Today being very hazy, I walked around the garden and photographed the two Bougainvilleas
which I hope you enjoy.

Winston your shots today very interesting

Pat

Hi Pat - Very good shots of my favourite subject matter - the stuff growing right outside our door. Actually one of the shots I didn't post was an often photographed magenta bougainvillea not unlike yours. Anyway thanks for sharing the work. Always fun to see what others "bout hey" doing. Pat - I see you finally got on to Fotopages - with 31 photos, to boot. Well done! Since we spoke I have not been able to post any photos at anytime day or night. It may be my system which is being problematic. Loves money being thrown at it. And I am rejecting that notion and battling through its tantrums.. We'll talk. Congrats. Mon 13-Aug-2007 09:43

You can see Winston and I found some friends on our Saturday field day, nice day, and the group had fun . I enclose a variety of pictures taken on the way Pat

... black bellies...? where did you see them ?
I didn't see any... Was I on the same fieldtrip with you all ?
Guess it's just a matter of what 'one sees' vs. another.

Well last Saturday we made a visit to The Holetown Festival after quite a lay off from taking Photos, due to ill health, but I am happy to be back. Hope you enjoy what our camera saw.

Hi Pat, glad to see you active with your camera again.

I did not make to Holetown so I appreciate your sharing.

Hi Pat - As Victor said, nice to see you out and about with the Canon. I missed the Holetown Festival (except a bit on Sunday which wasn't too exciting). Missed you at tha Gold Cup but heard from Kay & Jonathan that you were busy otherwise.

Anyway nice coverage of the festival. See you on a shoot sometime soon.

I submitted a Google search on The Chamberlain (Swing) Bridge and your page was in the list. It is pleasing to find others taking pictures around Barbados. Looking through your photo stream I am moved to say that I am proud to be Barbadian. I am looking forward to seeing more of your images. Sun 10-Sep-2006 11:28

Last Saturday with a group of other photographers taking a course we visited Chalky Mount on the East coast of Barbados, for me at 73 years old and with the help of my daughter and some of the others made it possible to be there, its was quite an experience, but it was worth it all as I never would have thought that kind of formation was there. I am told that this part of the island was pushed up when Barbados was formed many many years ago form the center of the earth The walk to the top was quite exciting.
I hope you enjoy what I think is nice.

Congratulations Pat, my friend..........great pictures. I found this one geologically intriquing. You caught an interesting subject here. I will have to see what I can find from Golden BC to add to the site.

Hi Pat - great shots! Congrats. You saw things that I a veteran of at least 3 Chalky Mount visits have never seen... The Lion's Head for example; my favourite. As Victor says, keep shooting and sharing. Sat 22-Apr-2006 09:14
